Transcription of Central Kurdish (Jāfī)

My transcription of Central Kurdish (Jāfī):
‘ a ā b č d æ e ē f g h ı i ī
j k l ł m n ň o ō ö p q r ř
s š t u ū ü v w ý x y z ž
ʿ ḥ ğ

4 short vowels: æ ı u ý
7 long vowels: ā ē ī ū ō ü ö
7 shorted long vowels: a e i u o ü ö
1 glottal stop: ‘
3 foreign consonants: ʿ ḥ ğ

Vowels never occur in initial position. There’s usually a glottal stop.
e.g.
‘āsmān
‘āłā

Long vowels are shortened when they occur in a final position and are
unstressed
e.g.
BÆRz-i (you are tall)
bærZĪ (height)

The high vowels specially ī and ū are shortened to i and u when they occur before two consonants.
e.g.
‘æybīs-ım → bistu?
bīs → bist

long vowels are written with a macron, e.g. ā & ū
the exceptions are the long vowels ü & ö
