My name is Bēstūn Pæymān Hæydærī.
I was born in a refugee camp in Ramadi, Iraq by parents from Særpēł-i Zæhāw in Xwærhæłat (eastern Kurdistan aka Iranian Kurdistan).
The language my parents taught me is Kurdish, namely the Central Kurdish dialect. The subdialect we speak is called Jāfī, spoken in the towns of Jıwānřō, Rıwānsær and some villages around Særpēł-i Zæhāw and Pāwæ.

I find language captivating and in this blog I try to learn the grammar of my kurdish subdialect and also construct my own poems.
